KAMLOOPS — The power has been restored in east Kamloops after it was taken out by an early morning crash.

The crash on the Trans Canada Highway near the Pine Ridge golf course damaged a power pole, and BC Hydro says crews needed to completely replace it, which is why the outage lasted several hours.

According to Kamloops RCMP, no one was injured in the crash and there were no significant traffic tie-ups.
