WolfPack compete in MJB Classic Invitational Swim Meet

KAMLOOPS – The TRU WolfPack Swim Team had 4 swimmers competing at the  23rdAnnual MJB Law Invitational Swim Meet, Dec 11 – 13 , 2015 hosted by the Kamloops Swim Club. The team competed against 400 swimmers from 17 clubs throughout BC and Alberta.

 

Greg Petersen  (Kamloops, BC) led the way for the WolfPack team winning 2 Gold Medals while qualifying for the 2016 Canadian Senior National Swimming Championships this summer in Edmonton. Petersen swam a 23.46 narrowly missing the CIS qualifying standard by 16 one hundredths of a second. Petersen had 100 % Lifetime Best times in the 7 events he competed in.

 

Jagdeesh Uppal (Kamloops, BC)  placed 4th in both the 50 and 100  Breaststroke events while posting 83% Lifetime Best times over the weekend.

 

Taylor Carmichael’s  (Merritt, BC) top placings came in the 100 Backstroke and 200 Freestyle, where she placed 8th in both events.
