KAMLOOPS — BC Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Todd Stone is on his way to Ottawa.

Stone will head east December 8, 2015 for a meeting with his new federal counterpart, Amarjeet Sohi, who was appointed to the role by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when the federal Liberal government was sworn in.

Stone says he will be discussing BC's infrastructure and transportation priorities and adds the new federal government seems to be "very sincere in wanting to work more closely" with the province of BC and appears prepared to invest more money into infrastructure in this province.
