Missing Salmon Arm senior found deceased

SALMON ARM — A missing 76-year old Salmon Arm woman with dementia has ended on a sad note.

RCMP say Mildred Ekren was found deceased after an intensive search.

Her body was located on a local pier on Shuswap Lake late last night.

No foul play is suspected in her death.  The matter has been turned over to the BC Coroner’s Service.
