KAMLOOPS — The Coquihalla Highway only had about 10-12 centimetres of snow overnight but a Special Weather Statement remains in effect.

Meteorologist Greg Peirce says another storm is expected to roll in later today and into the evening bringing an additional 20 centimetres of snow to the mountain passes.

“Anyone travelling south from Kamloops today should travel during the afternoon hours ahead of the storm system later in the day” says Peirce.

The snow is expected to taper off by Monday morning ahead of another storm system on Tuesday.
