Snowfall warning on Interior highways

KAMLOOPS — The weather is back in the news this morning. A big dump of snow is forecast for the Rogers Pass and North Columbia today and tonight. Up to 30 centimeters of snow could fall by tomorrow morning in those areas. 

5 to 10 centimeters is expected on the Coquihalla today and the same amount tonight between Hope and Merritt. This morning, there is some freezing rain reported on the Coquihalla.

In Kamloops, the rain has made some of the sidewalks slick and some of the roads have a few slippery sections as well. There are reports of black ice on some streets around Kamloops as well.
