KAMLOOPS — Today is World Aids Day, a time to recognize the millions of people who have died from the disease.

World Aids Day has been observed on December 1st since 1988 and is dedicated to raising awareness of the aids pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection.

Today, several people gathered at Ask Wellness in Kamloops, to mourn those who have died, and to understand that many in Canada are still being infected.
