New Life, new name

For the past 35-years, it has been known as the New Life Mission.

But now, the social agency located on West Victoria Street, that feeds over 100-people everyday, is being called New Life Community Kamloops.

The name change is all part of a new vision to be more available for those in need, and to connect them with the appropriate services and resources to get ahead.

New Life is reaching out to not only those living on the streets, but to the hidden homeless and working poor as well.

The agency has been able to hire more outreach workers, all in the hopes of making a big difference in the community.
