An aging Columbia Street hotel, could soon be transformed into a luxury hotel and condo development. Pacific Hospitality Groups, the owner of the Hospitality Inn, is looking at plans to re-develop the property into a mixed use development, incorporating an upscale five star hotel with up to 100 rooms, and between 60 and 80-residential condos.

The views from the Hospitality Inn overlooking the valley are some of the best in Kamloops. It could take up to 24-months to build the development that Pacific Hospitality Groups has in mind, but the hope is to begin construction sometime in the next two to three years.
