Gas prices dropping in Kamloops

It’s been months of gas prices above a dollar in Kamloops but motorists here are seeing prices at the pump dropping steadily.

Motorists were lining up at gas stations like Costco – which sits at 92.9 cents per litre (As of 3pm November 19th).

Other gas stations around Kamloops are around 95.9 cents per litre. 

Industry experts say refineries in the US Midwest are back online after Gas Buddy reported in October that 12 Midwest refineries were undergoing maintenance, driving down supply. With refineries now running at full capacity Kamloops prices are expected to drop heading into the weekend.
