A loaded “SKS” assault rifle and two live pipe bombs are some of the items that were found during a police investigation of a house on Ahbau Street last Thursday.

RCMP shut down a section of the street for nearly three hours while an Emergency Response Team and the RCMP’s Explosive Disposal Unit searched the house.

Following the investigation, charges have now been approved against 24 year old Dustin Olson and 23 year old Meranda Dingwall. Both have been charged with possession of an explosive device and careless storage of a firearm- to name a few.

Dingwall will make her first appearance in Provincial Court later today and Olson on December 1st.
