There’s trouble in the trades at TRU. Instructors in the Faculty of Trades have issued a vote of non-confidence in dean Lindsay Langill. Langill is out of the country, and was not available to comment on the vote. Tom Friedman, president of the tru faculty association says the vote took place in October, but the issue is coming to light now, because faculty was concerned about the delay. according to Friedman, faculty’s major concern was a lack of collaboration between themselves and the Dean. Friedman is hoping TRU’s administration can address the issue, so both sides can move forward.
