It’s a constant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice our soldiers have made. The Memorial Hill Cenotaph in Kamloops holds hundreds of local names, commemorating soldiers who lost their lives. The historic landmark sits on the corner of 2nd and Battle Street. It’s one of few in the country that includes a clock, which hasn’t worked since it was first set up in the early 1920’s. The monument is in need of several repairs and improvements and could be fixed up as early as spring.
