VICTORIA — All signs indicate B.C. will move to Stage 2 in its restart plan next week, meaning non-essential travel within the province will be allowed starting on Tuesday (June 15).

Nonetheless, B.C. RCMP say officers will be enforcing circuit breaker travel restrictions this weekend, requiring British Columbians to stay within their regions.

In a news release, RCMP say they will have road checks set up starting Friday afternoon (June 11) at three locations:

  • Highway 1 in the Boston Bar area
  • Highway 3 in the Manning Park area
  • Highway 5 in the Old Toll Booth area
